Lawsuit of the Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Committee Nurul Ghufron regarding the ethics hearing rules of the Supervisory Board (Dewas) Corruption Eradication Commission failed after being rejected by the Jakarta State Administrative Court (PTUN). Ghufron considered the incident to be out of date to be reported because it happened 1 year ago. For that reason, he also considered his ethical case at Dewas should not have gone ahead, so he filed a lawsuit with PTUN.

The Jakarta PTUN did not accept Nurul Ghufron’s lawsuit regarding the KPK Supervisory Board’s ethics trial rules. The KPK Supervisory Board stated that it would immediately read out the verdict on Ghufron’s ethics case.

“The plan is that a decision will be made on Friday (6/9),” said KPK Supervisory Board member, Albertina Ho, when contacted, Tuesday (3/9).

Albertina said the KPK Supervisory Board took this step after Nurul Ghufron’s lawsuit at the PTUN failed.

“(Nurul Ghufron’s) case at the PTUN has been decided,” he said.
