The court partially cited a request for a temporary injunction to ban the broadcasting and distribution of a transcript of a phone call by Kim Dae-nam, a senior administrative officer in the former Presidential Office, which contained ‘suspicion of involvement in the nomination of First Lady Kim Kun-hee’.

On the 30th, Seoul Southern District Court’s Civil Division 51 (Presiding Judge Kim Woo-hyun) filed an application for a provisional injunction to ban broadcasting and distribution filed by former senior administrator Kim against Internet media outlet ‘Voice of Seoul’ on the 30th. It was decided that the part related to ‘remarks’ should not be broadcast.

Previously, the Voice of Seoul broadcast a recording of a phone call between former senior administrator Kim and Myung-soo Lee, a reporter for the Voice of Seoul, through a YouTube video on the 23rd. The story was that Mrs. Kim intervened in the People Power Party’s nomination during the 22nd general election and had Lee Won-mo, the personnel secretary in the President’s Office at the time, receive a strategic nomination, and that People Power Party lawmaker Lee Cheol-gyu was involved in this.

The court said, “It is difficult to say that the recording file alone provides proof that the part about Mrs. Kim and others’ involvement in the nomination is true.” For this reason, △ the content of the broadcast that uses definitive expressions that former Personnel Secretary Lee Won-mo received a strategic nomination because Ms. Any remarks related to this were banned from being aired.

The Voice of Seoul announced that it would broadcast an additional episode scheduled for 9 p.m. on this day. The reason is that the broadcast ban for which former senior administrative officer Kim filed a request for a temporary injunction is the episode aired on the 23rd, and the episode aired on this day is new content. Attorney Je-il Lee, the legal representative of Seoul Voice, said, “The transcript of Seoul Voice (scheduled to be aired) was not submitted to the court. “The broadcast will proceed according to the content prepared,” he said.
