Currently, 36 items have been registered and 46 preservers have been registered, covering folk customs, traditional crafts, traditional performing arts, etc. The Kaohsiung Municipal History Museum (Kaohsiung Museum) has specially opened it during the summer vacation. Registration for the promotional event will start tomorrow (26th).
Gao Shibo said that “One Heart, One Art: Promotion of Intangible Cultural Assets of Kaohsiung City” will be spearheaded by the Jin Feifeng Puppet Troupe, the Donghua Shadow Puppet Troupe, and the Gushan Diyuedian Jisheng Tang, and will lead the students to learn from puppet shows, shadow puppets, and eight generals, etc. In the workshop, you can learn about Kaohsiung’s traditional performing arts and folk culture, and through the guidance of artists, you can experience activities such as hand-making paper shadow puppets, puppet manipulation, face painting, and formation formations.
