Wonkwang Digital University (President Kim Yun-cheol) and The Beauty Bridge Co., Ltd. (CEO Gil Yeon-woo) announced on the 26th that they signed a business agreement at the Seoul Campus on the 25th. This agreement aims to jointly plan and develop beauty content that meets the latest trends and establish a domestic and international distribution platform by activating exchanges between the two organizations.

According to the agreement, the two organizations plan to strengthen academic exchange and research and jointly host academic conferences to advance the beauty industry. In addition, we plan to develop beauty content that matches the latest trends and distribute it through domestic and overseas platforms, thereby promoting the globalization of K-beauty.

Through this agreement, The Beauty Bridge executives, employees, immediate family members, and members will receive a 30% tuition discount upon admission.

The Department of Oriental Medicine and Beauty Arts is leading the spread of global beauty content based on a variety of beauty special lecture contents produced through the on-campus studio and the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate system. The Beauty Bridge plans to use this infrastructure to serve as a bridge to promote Korean beauty technology and educational content to the world.

Kim Hyo-cheol, a professor at the Department of Oriental Medicine and Beauty Arts, said, “This agreement is a new cooperation model that combines education and industry, and will become the foundation for nurturing global talent that will lead the K-beauty industry.” Gil Yeon-woo, CEO of The Beauty Bridge, said, “Through cooperation with our alma mater, we will realize the globalization of K-beauty education content and contribute to revitalizing the startup ecosystem.”

Meanwhile, Wonkwang Digital University was converted to a general graduate school last September and established a new beauty healthcare major in the Department of Natural Health, establishing itself as the only educational institution in the world that provides beauty-related degrees from bachelor’s to doctoral degrees online. Applications for graduate school admission are due by December 18, and applications for undergraduate programs begin on December 1.
