New Delhi ∙ Reliance with AI Cloud offering up to 100 GB free storage to Jio users. Images, videos and digital data can be stored and viewed through Jio AI Cloud. Jio AI Cloud is part of the company’s preparations to dominate the artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud storage space.

Currently, millions of users are using Google and Apple cloud storage. But their free plans only have limited GB of storage. Google’s cloud storage plans charge Rs 130 per month for 100GB of storage, while Apple charges Rs 75 for 50GB of iCloud storage.
Reliance also introduced the Jio Phone Call AI service, which can record phone calls and store them in the Jio Cloud. It also has the facility to summarize the concepts of the calls and translate them into other languages. Chairman Mukesh Ambani announced the new plans at the annual general meeting of Reliance Industries.
Mukesh Ambani said that the way artificial intelligence is seen as a luxury technology that only a few can use will change and the aim is to make AI services available in all kinds of devices, apart from expensive devices.
Mukesh Ambani has said that Reliance Industries will be the first company to cross 10 lakh crore in annual revenue by 2024. It became the first company in India to cross 10 lakh crore ($119.9 billion) in annual revenue.
5.28 lakh crore ($66.0 billion) in investments in the last three years. He said that Reliance remained the highest tax payer in the country by paying Rs 1,86,440 crore ($22.4 billion) in various taxes and duties in the financial year 2023-24.
Reliance’s massive solar factory this year
New Delhi ∙ Reliance Industries Limited’s large solar factory, which manufactures solar cells and panels, will start operations this year. Chairman Mukesh Ambani announced that production of 20 GW of solar PV (photovoltaic) modules will begin by the end of this year.
A PV module converts sunlight into electricity. There will also be polysilicon and glass construction.
MW level sodium iron cell production will begin next year. Reliance aims to invest $1,000 crore in carbon-free technology and solar electrification over the next 3 years.
4 more large scale solar factories will come up in the coming years.
