It has been three years since the odd-eyed white cat Angie was born from the Shueisha x DeNA project “Kyarakuri!”, which creates new characters on social media. The “Beautiful Angie Cat Fortune Telling Book” is a collection of things that Angie does to make her happy every day, and it has been well-received. This time, Angie has jumped out of the illustration and appeared in Jimbocho, Chiyoda Ward. What is she doing?
When I arrived at Jimbocho Station, I first went to Kanda Coffee, which helped me out with the illustration exhibition to celebrate the release of “Nekoyomikuji.” I could enjoy delicious hand-dripped coffee for 390 yen.

It’s a short walk from Kanda Coffee to Shueisha. We took a commemorative photo at the main entrance.
It caught the attention of students passing by.
Next, we went to the LEE editorial department. Angie is also well known for her daily fortune telling.
Inside, there was a large group of staff waiting for Angie to arrive.

I took a walk around the town of books. For a while after the release, the books and Angie goods were lined up for sale.

Greetings to all.
On my way home, I discovered a wine shop called Soif Tokyo in an alley.
You can buy and drink wine from 1pm onwards.

Many people say that Angie, the white cat who loves fashion and has a slightly tsundere personality, is “soothing” and “makes me laugh and cheers me up.”
“It’s not so much that we’re creating it, but rather that Angie makes it happen naturally,” say KaZoo, who draws adorable illustrations, and Toro*Kon, who creates short but touching words.
You can read about the story behind Angie’s creation and the behind-the-scenes story here.
