The new iPhone 15 is struggling with a number of startup problems and Apple is forced to make improvements. Instead of doing this with the already announced software update to iOS 17.1, Apple will push forward a further update to iOS 17.0.3. This emergency plan has now been confirmed by a corresponding report. How long do users have to wait?

The new one iPhone 15 leaves its mark – not always positive. Recently we heard about problems with USB-C cables, charging mats that destroy the Apple cell phone and, last but not least, overheating.
iOS 17.0.3 a done deal: Update for iPhone 15 in progress
This is what iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max do in some situations simply too hot. A tangible problem that Apple recently spoke out about. However, a hardware problem due to the new titanium frame could be ruled out.
On the other hand, increased but only temporary background activity in the first few days of setup is responsible for the overheating as well as various third-party apps that contribute to overload (e.g. Instagram, Uber). But above all it is down to one thing Apple’s unspecified bug in iOS 17.
Customers have the choice between four different models:
Apple wants the latter with a future one Software update fix. It was unclear until now whether the manufacturer would only integrate the problem solution with iOS 17.1 or whether it would want to release an interim update beforehand. According to colleagues at MacRumors, Apple has now decided on the latter as an emergency plan (source: MacRumors).
As a result, there is Apple is already working on iOS 17.0.3. This should probably be available this week or next week. Users of an iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will no longer have to wait long for a fix.
There will be a major service update coming at the end of October
Apple will also fix the bug integrate with iOS 17.1. The larger service update is currently in its second pre-release version for developers, but will most likely not be completed until the end of October. However, anyone who is struggling with heat problems with the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max no longer has to wait for a solution.
