Price drop for the 10th generation iPad: The excellent Apple tablet is now available at Amazon for just 369 euros. With its modern design and great features, it is the perfect good-and-cheap tablet.

At Apple, the cheapest iPad of the 10th generation costs at least 579 euros – 200 euros more than the immediate predecessor cost directly from Apple last year. But those who don’t buy from Apple can already save just a few weeks after the launch. Currently, the average is around 3 percent. At the moment, it is even higher, namely around 7 percent.
iPad 2022 currently cheaper on eBay with code
This is how we pay on eBay using the voucher code “POWEREBAY6” instead of the stated 576.95 only 542.33 euros (see eBay). However, the code expires on November 4th. Then we will pay around 550 euros again on the open market from other providers (see price comparison at Idealo).
If you want to save even more, you will probably have to be patient a little longer. The 9th generation iPad 2021 reached its lowest price just 10 months after its release, with savings of around 15 percent available this summer. But now prices are rising again here and there after Apple officially raised prices by 50 euros. Theoretically, there could be another silent price increase for the current model if the euro continues to fall against the US dollar. So: always keep an eye on the currency market and, if in doubt, don’t wait too long.
Anyway: By January at the latest, there should be regular discounts of 5 percent compared to Apple’s recommended price here and thereat least if we look at the price history and price decline of the predecessor.

Is the iPad worth it?
The question remains: is the iPad 2022 even worth it? In another article, we recommended the iPad Air from 2020 or the current model. The relatively small additional price is worth it, after all, the Air has a better, fully laminated display and the newer Apple Pencil 2 is also directly supported. The seemingly ridiculous USB-C lightning adapter for the 10th generation iPad and the first Pencil is not needed. However, if the price of the iPad 2022 continues to fall and the value remains stable below 500 euros in the future, then the new model would be back in the selection. At the moment, however, we would still prefer the Air.
