A checking account change that can pay off: For Black Friday, ING once again increased the premium for opening your first checking account with a direct bank. Instead of 150 euros as before, there is now 200 euros for free. The promotion applies to both the classic checking account and the Future checking account with a sustainability promise and ends on December 15, 2024.
In order to receive the 200 euros, customers must actively use the ING checking account. The bank considers this to mean 5 payments with the associated Visa debit card within 4 months. After the fifth use of the card, ING will transfer the money within 7 working days.
ING current account: Free under conditions
The ING current account is free for everyone who either has an incoming payment of 700 euros (from December 1st: 1000 euros) per month or is under 28 years old. Otherwise it costs 4.90 euros per month. With the Future checking account, one euro per month is added for the sustainable use of deposits. Customers can also choose a green or social project that they would like to support. A debit card (also called EC card) can be added to both account models for 0.99 euros (from December 1st: 1.49) euros per month. If you don’t yet have a daily money account with ING, you will receive a so-called extra account in addition to your salary account, which pays interest in the amount of 3.5 percent pa for 4 months offers.
