The “Attracting International Talent” campaign is one of Techcombank’s strategic initiatives, making the Bank a pioneer in “reversing the flow of brainpower”, attracting overseas Vietnamese talents to return to Vietnam.

The Overseas Talent Roadshow campaign attracted nearly 1,000 Vietnamese talents in Singapore, affirming Techcombank’s appeal to the Vietnamese community in this island nation. The highlight this year was the Live Chat with the participation of Mr. Jens Lottner – General Director of Techcombank, along with the bank’s senior leadership team including Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – Director of Technology, Mr. Santhosh Mahendiran – Director of Data & Analytics, Ms. Phan Thi Thanh Binh – Deputy Director of Corporate Banking & Financial Institutions, and representatives of Techcombank’s Recruitment Department.

With the goal of becoming one of the leading banks in the region, Techcombank has launched an international talent recruitment campaign for three consecutive years, with the expectation of attracting international talent with skills, experience and expertise that are scarce in the Vietnamese market. This helps the bank supplement high-quality human resources, contributing significantly to the implementation of transformation strategies in the coming years.

The talents have integrated very well upon returning home and made significant contributions to the Bank. After two years, we are delighted to return to Singapore to continue this mission. This year, we are focusing on finding candidates with high commitment and responsibility, rather than just focusing on quantity. Most importantly, we want to enhance Techcombank’s presence in the market and ensure that candidates can proactively connect with us at any time.”

As one of the senior leaders who has accompanied this campaign since the first years, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Director of Technology, shared: “After 2 years back in Singapore to continue looking for technology talent, I am looking for professionals with hands-on experience working with the AWS platform, in addition to cloud and data analytics skills, to help us optimize and scale our current systems. In particular, Techcombank is also looking for professionals who can set up development environments not only from a software development perspective but also from an infrastructure-as-code perspective. These are the skills we are focusing on this year.”.

Ms. Kimberly Tran, one of the participants of this year’s event, shared: “I was really surprised and touched when a Vietnamese bank like Techcombank organized such a large-scale and meaningful event.
