Israel has made it clear that if any attack takes place on it, it will have to pay a heavy price. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also mentioned the death of Hezbollah leader Fuad Shukr and said that we will take revenge from those who harm us. Shukr was killed in South Beirut. At the same time, top Hamas commander Ismail Haniyeh was also killed in an airstrike in Iran’s capital Tehran. Israel is being blamed for this.

Netanyahu says that Israel is ready for any situation. He said, ‘Citizens of Israel, the coming days are full of challenges. After the strike in Beirut, threats are coming from every direction. We are ready for any situation and we stand united against any threat. If there is an attack against us from any area, Israel will make it pay a heavy price.’

He said, ‘We have killed Nasrallah’s close aide (Hezbollah chief Hassan), who was fully responsible for the massacre of children.’ 12 children were killed in a strike, for which Hezbollah was blamed. The Israeli PM said, ‘We have taken our revenge from Mohsen and we will take revenge from anyone who harms us. Whoever kills our children, whoever kills our citizens, whoever harms our country, his head will pay the price for that.’

Regarding the international pressure to stop the war, Netanyahu said, ‘If we had listened to those voices, we would not have been able to eliminate Hamas leaders and thousands of terrorists. We would not have been able to destroy the terrorists’ infrastructure… We would not have been able to create conditions due to which we have come close to an agreement that releases all our prisoners and fulfills the objectives of the war.’

However, he did not mention Haniyeh’s death during this time. On Wednesday itself, Hamas and Iran’s Revolutionary Guards had announced Haniyeh’s death.
