ICAC Internship for Law Students

Mr. Shi, a second-year law student at the University of Hong Kong, was invited to this recruitment experience day because he is about to intern at the ICAC. The ICAC’s upright image also aroused his interest. He wanted to understand whether he was suitable for the work of the ICAC. He also thought that the knowledge learned in the law department was related to the work of the ICAC. He believed that this job would give him the opportunity to apply what he had learned. He hoped that his internship at the ICAC would give him a deeper understanding of the work of the ICAC.

If you don’t meet the physical test standard, you need to work harder

Mr. Zhang, a third-year engineering student, wanted to learn more about the operation of the ICAC and how it conducts anti-corruption work through the recruitment day, especially how the ICAC collaborates with other overseas law enforcement agencies to fight corruption. He joked that if he wanted to join the ICAC, he would need to work harder to improve his physical fitness, as his results in the physical fitness test were not up to standard and his push-ups were only in the single digits, so he needed to practice more.

International students want to apply for ICAC

Mr. Ho, who just returned to Hong Kong after graduating from Australia with a degree in finance, passed the physical fitness test during the experience day. During the experience day, he was deeply impressed by how ICAC officers conducted arrest operations and interrogations, and gained a deeper understanding of the ICAC’s anti-corruption work. He learned about recruitment information from the ICAC’s website and felt that he was suitable for this job. He wanted to apply for the exam and had confidence in himself.
