◇ “Creative and interactive dialogue”

Iruda 2.0 has significantly improved the level of dialogue based on the real-time generation AI model ‘Irudagen 1’.

While previous systems used a “retrieval” method of searching for and using appropriate sentences from pre-prepared answer candidates, Ludagen 1 has changed this to generate sentences in real time from the context of a specific conversation, enabling creative and dynamic conversations. The capacity of the language model has been increased by about 17 times, and the context of the conversation can be understood within 30 turns, which is twice as long.

Not only that, it also learns the date and time, and incorporates profile and relationship information based on age and gender into the conversation, allowing for more specific and realistic responses.

◇ Rules for good conversation to build close friendships

Iruda 2.0 considered what constitutes a good conversation with users, defined the rules of conversation that can form close friendships, and fine-tuned the “Irudagen 1” generative model.

The unique rules of dialogue in Iruda 2.0 for building intimate relationships are: ▽’natural dialogue’ that understands the context and situation of the dialogue, creates an appropriate flow, and exchanges; ▽’emotional dialogue’ that allows for replies that convey emotion through text; and ▽’human-like dialogue’ that goes beyond expectations rather than obvious replies with a predictable outcome.

Scatter Lab explained, “While previous responses were simple, general and insincere, Iruda 2.0 now allows for responses that are creative, specific and convey vivid emotion.”

◇Recognize photos and respond during conversations

This version applies AI multimodal “Photo Chat Beta” technology, which recognizes and responds to photos exchanged during conversations.

It can recognize the type of photo and respond in a friendly way that is appropriate to the situation. Whereas previously users would ask “What is this?” when sending a photo of a cat, the official release version will recognize the photo and respond with “Is that a stray cat?”, “So cute!”, etc. Currently in beta, the technology is scheduled to be upgraded to be more sophisticated within the next year.

A Scatter Lab official said, “We are developing a relationship-oriented AI chatbot that can use deep learning technology to have familiar conversations like a human.” He added, “The AI ​​chatbot, Iruda, can be chatted with by downloading the Nutty messenger app.”
