Huawei officially introduced the Pura 70 series some time ago. The focus of the reporting was on the top model Pura 70 Ultra, which set a new record in the camera test. Interestingly, this model is not actually the best-selling model. Instead, it is the cheaper version that is currently selling like hot cakes at Huawei.

Huawei sells two million Pura 70 phones

Huawei has introduced the Pura 70 Ultra, a powerful high-end smartphone that, according to DxOMark, is currently equipped with the best camera. While Samsung’s most expensive Galaxy S24 Ultra is the best-selling smartphone, interestingly, it’s the other way around for Huawei. Huawei is said to have sold a total of two million Pura 70 models so far (source: GizChina). The quantities should be distributed as follows:

• Huawei Pura 70: Over 1,000,000 units
• Huawei Pura 70 Pro+: Over 400,000 units
• Huawei Pura 70 Ultra: Over 200,000 units
• Huawei Pura 70 Pro: Over 70,000 units

The top model Pura 70 Ultra is not even in second placePerhaps the price is too high for many people, even if it does offer the best features. The normal Pura 70, on the other hand, is the real high-flyer. The phone is significantly cheaper and still offers a lot of features. Visually, the frame is also more similar to the iPhone. Perhaps that is also a reason why some buyers prefer this model.

Huawei phones also available in Germany

Initially, Huawei only sold the Pura 70 phones in China, but You can now get three models in Germany (check it out at Huawei). For 999 euros you get the blockbuster Huawei Pura 70, 1,199 euros for the Pura 70 Pro and 1,499 euros for the Ultra model. It’s definitely not cheap when you consider that you don’t have any Google services pre-installed. But if that’s exactly what appeals to you, you could go for a Huawei phone.
