Referreport
Louis Klamroth, presenter of the talk show “Hart aber fair” on ARD, rarely experiences this: When he interrupted his guest Antje Hermenau during the show on Monday evening, she reacted very angrily.
“Hard but fair”: Coalition with BSW better than with AfD
“The great crisis of trust: Does politics still understand the citizens?” was the topic of the evening. And there was a lot to discuss. The last third of the show was about the formation of a government after the state elections in Thuringia and Saxony. And about whether it is better to form a coalition with the “Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht” (BSW) rather than with the Alternative for Germany (AfD)
Hermenau, political consultant and author, was just criticizing the BSW construct when moderator Klamroth interrupted her for the first time. “But Ms. Hermenau,” he interrupted her.
“Stop interrupting, please, stop that,” Hermenau replied.
Klamroth: “You can keep talking.” Which is what Hermenau did.
But not for long. Klamroth: “Now I’m going to interrupt you, Mrs. Hermenau.”
Studio audience applauds “unruly” talk guest Hermenau
Hermenau, however, was reluctant to accept this: “Again, Mr. Klamroth. Impossible! Impossible!” she cried out loudly – perhaps with a little exaggeration.
Applause from the audience. And a bit of laughter. Yes, Klamroth rarely experiences such “unruly” guests on “Hart aber fair”. It was also an unusual change for viewers.
Most participants usually remain politely silent when the moderator takes over the talk.
