Haagen-Dazs Japan has announced that it will raise prices for its “assorted box” ice cream starting in June.

The ice cream “assorted box” will be the price increase from the June 1st shipping price.

This is the first price hike since April 2023, and the suggested retail price will be increased from the current 999 yen (tax included) to 1,074 yen.

The factors behind this are rising prices of raw material and packaging materials as well as rising logistics costs, and Haagen-Dazs Japan commented, “It is extremely difficult to absorb the increase in costs through corporate efforts alone.”
