A trade between Giants outfielder Seiya Matsubara (29) and Seibu outfielder Rakuto Wakabayashi (26) has been completed, as announced by both teams on the 24th.

Matsubara graduated from Sendai Ikuei High School in Miyagi and Meisei University before joining the team as the 5th pick in the development draft in 2017. In 2018, he signed a contract as a controlled player. In 2021, he played in a career-high 135 games, batting .274 with 12 home runs and 37 RBIs…
