France has grounded a plane with 300 Indian citizens going to Nicaragua on suspicion of “human trafficking”.
The Paris prosecutor’s office told France Presse on Friday, December 22 (Marghoomi Ola) that it took the plane out of the air and landed it on the ground on Thursday after it was reported to them.
The plane was flying from the United Arab Emirates.
France’s national anti-organized crime agency has launched an investigation into the case, prosecutors said.
Officials said that the A-340 of the Romanian “Legend” airline company is currently landing at Vatre airport in the north of France.
An informed source about the case said that these Indians may have traveled to Central America to reach the United States or Canada.
