The third episode of the NHK drama series “Omusubi” was broadcast on the 2nd, and fans were excited about Haruka Kodama, a former member of HKT48, who made her morning drama debut in the final scene.

“Omusubi” is a youth graffiti series in which the heroine Yui Yoneda (Kanna Hashimoto), born in 1989, connects people’s hearts and the future as a nutritionist. The story portrays a woman who embraces the “gal spirit” of valuing her individuality at all times and moves forward powerfully through the turbulent Heisei and Reiwa eras. The drama is currently airing the first week of “Omusubi to Gal” (episodes 1 to 5), in which Yui enters the local Itoshima Higashi High School. On this day’s broadcast, Yui is invited by her classmate and calligraphy club member Emi Miyazaki (Morisato Nakamura) to visit a calligraphy exhibition being held in Tenjin, Fukuoka. Yui wasn’t very interested in the event, but when Ryosuke Kazami (Reio Matsumoto), a senior she admires, comes, she gets excited and goes to Tenjin excited. However, there were four other seniors there, and the tension dropped. After that, Yui and her friends see the members of “Hagaren (Hakata Gal Union)” sitting in front of the game center: Ruri Majima (Mirichamu), Tamako Sato (Misaki Tanito), and Suzune Tanaka (Natsumi Okamoto). Yui is invited to join the club and tries to hide so she won’t be seen, but she is grabbed by another member, Risa Yuzuki (Memi Tamura), and taken to a game center to take a purikura photo shoot with her. It’s gone. A man who was watching the scene misunderstood that Yui was involved with a gal. He rushes into the arcade with police officer Saka Kawai (Kodama) and others and says, “A girl is involved with a delinquent!”

The story of this work is set in Fukuoka Prefecture, and one of the highlights is that many talents with ties to the prefecture will appear. It seems that Kodama will be appearing in the same vein, and on August 5th, he updated his X (former Twitter) and posted, “I will be appearing in the NHK morning drama “Omusubi”! I play the role of female police officer Saka Kawai. It’s always been a dream of mine. It was a morning drama on NHK. And now that it has been announced, I’m really happy and looking forward to it airing.”

At the opening of the day, when “Saka Kawai Haruka Kodama” was displayed, her fans immediately reacted. X received a number of voices eagerly awaiting its appearance.
