The division has not revealed whether he has admitted to the charges.
According to investigators, on June 18, he was in possession of approximately 0.585 grams of stimulants (equivalent to a street price of 38,000 yen) at his home in the same ward.
The accused was subsequently charged with violating the same law (use). The department is currently investigating in detail how he obtained the drugs.
