Weekly Favorites Voting Results for the First Week of June
The results of the first week of June on Bugs! Favorite, a K-pop voting service run by the JoongAng Ilbo in collaboration with Bugs!, have been released.
◇ Forestella takes the top spot in the weekly chart for the first week of June
Forestella took the top spot on the weekly chart for the first week of June 2024. The weekly favorite, which selects the most loved artist over the past week, is determined by 80% fan votes and 20% streaming data. Forestella was voted first with 2,881,532 fan votes and 0.5% streaming data, for a total of 35.9%.
Coming in second was Kim Junsu (XIA Junsu) who received 2,836,718 votes and 1% of the streaming portion for a total of 35.8%. Forestella's first place congratulatory message can be seen on the main banner of the Bugs! app, while Kim Junsu's second place congratulatory message can be seen on the banner at the top of the Bugs! app chart from June 14th to June 16th.
In third place was DAY6, who received 45,711 votes and 11.6% of streaming support, totalling 12.2% of the votes.
◇ZEROBASEONE's Zhang Hao is voted number one for artists born in July
In the poll for artists who have birthdays in July, ZEROBASEONE's Zhang Hao came in first. The vote for July birthday hero is calculated 100% from fan votes. Zhang Hao was voted first with 46.5% of the support from fans, receiving 1,048,094 votes. Zhang Hao's birthday is July 25th. A congratulatory telegram for Zhang Hao's first place will be placed as a birthday celebration bus advertisement on Gyeonggi Metropolitan Bus No. 9004 from July 1st to 31st, and will run on the Pangyo, Shinnonhyeon and Gangnam station routes.
Coming in second was Forestella's Go Woo-rim with 961,283 votes, or 42.6 percent of the votes. Go Woo-rim's birthday is July 10. The congratulatory telegram for runner-up Go Woo-rim can be seen in the congratulatory image that will be broadcast from June 29 to August 2 at the COEX Media Tower in the Daechi direction at Samsung Station.
In third place was Jin Won of Liberante with 209,713 votes, or 9.3 percent of the total.
