FC Memmingen will be on a double trip to the Munich area on Saturday. The Bayernliga team will play the last game of the calendar year at FC Ismaning on Saturday (2 p.m.), while the U21 team will play in the state football league at SC Olching at the same time. Both teams therefore sit together on the bus.
With an away win, the Memmingen team could, in the worst case scenario, hibernate in fourth place and, in the best case scenario, in second place in the Bayernliga. Opponent FC Ismaning has the third-best defense in the league with only 23 goals conceded, but also the second-weakest attack with 18 goals.
A-Juniors play at the same time
Because the U21 and U19 (in Würzburg) play at the same time, the FCM has to juggle a bit in terms of personnel. Recently, A-juniors have repeatedly been included in the squad, which is not possible this time.
“We played a good round and want to say goodbye to the winter break with three points,” says FCM coach Matthias Günes. The game will be played in the Erich Greipl Stadium in Ismaning. The encounter is available in the free live stream from Sporttotal.TV to see.
