After his TV colleague says goodbye, actor Fabian Hinrichs is not thinking about quitting as a “Tatort” detective. “I love it,” he told the German Press Agency. On Sunday (October 6th) he can be seen as Chief Inspector Felix Voss in the new “Tatort” crime thriller “Despite” from Franconia at 8:15 p.m. on Erste. It is the last episode with Dagmar Manzel as “Tatort” detective Paula Ringelhahn at his side.
Hinrichs does not have a specific wish for her successor: “I can imagine a lot of things. At first I don’t care whether it’s a man, a woman, young, old or nobody,” he said. “What is important is the cinematic world that is created.” According to Bayerischer Rundfunk, in the next “Tatort” from Franconia he will initially continue alone, but as always supported by Eli Wasserscheid as Wanda Goldwasser. “We’ll shoot it in the fall. After that we’ll have to see.”
Hinrichs is sure that the television series will continue to be successful in the future. “I believe that the “crime scene” is one of the few things that is still viewed linearly.” It is something that creates a feeling of community. This also appeals to young people who watch the “crime scene” together in bars. “This has become, so to speak, a ritual in the last few decades.”
