London: England cricket legend Graham Thorpe passed away. He was 55 years old. The death information was released by the England and Wales Cricket Board.
He was being treated in the hospital in critical condition for a few days. He played 100 Tests and 82 ODIs for England between 1993 and 2005. The left-handed batsman scored 6,744 runs in Tests including 16 centuries. The average is 44.66. A star for county team Surrey, Thorpe is regarded as one of the greatest English players of his generation. The star played a crucial role in many of England’s victories.
The England Cricket Board said there were no words to describe Graham’s passing.
