The entire list of Dutch police officers and their work-related contact information was leaked.

Dutch Justice Minister David van Weil said in a letter submitted to the House of Representatives on the 27th (local time) that he had been informed by the police chief the previous day that a data leak had occurred due to a cyber attack.

According to local media such as HLN, the number of leaked contact information is known to amount to 62,000.

The police began investigating the incident and also notified the Dutch data protection authorities of the damage.

In his letter, Minister Panweil ​​said that no information related to the investigation had been leaked.

However, they said that they are analyzing whether the police officers in charge of undercover investigation, whose names and contact information are kept confidential, may be exposed to danger due to this leak.
