The manufacturer SDA GmbH recalls its product “EDEKA Snack Balls Date Hazelnut Cocoa, 145 grams” According to a statement from the producer on Thursday (5 September 2024), it cannot be ruled out that there are isolated foreign metal objects in the product. The product affected is the one with the Best before date 01.03.2025.

The affected product is available nationwide at Edeka and Marktkauf – including in stores in Bavaria. “SDA GmbH and the affected retail companies reacted immediately and immediately removed the relevant goods from sale,” the manufacturer said.

Consumers who have purchased the corresponding product with the stated best-before date can return it to their store for a refund of the purchase price, even without presenting the receipt.
