DL E&C and Daewoo Construction are attracting attention by winning construction rights for major reconstruction projects in Dogok-dong and Gaepo-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
DL E&C announced on the 2nd that it recently secured the construction rights for the ‘Dogok Gaepo Hanshin Reconstruction Project’ (perspective drawing) in Dogok-dong. It is a project to build 7 buildings with 3 underground floors and 35 above-ground floors, 816 households, and auxiliary welfare facilities. DL E&C suggested to the cooperative that the complex be named ‘Acro Dogok’. It will also present a specialized design with premium landscaping, top-class community facilities, and an expanded parking space of 2.0 cars per household. It is expected that noise reduction between floors and exterior paint with improved durability will be applied.
Daewoo Construction was selected as the construction company for the Gaepo Public Housing 5th Complex Apartment Reconstruction Project in Gaepo-dong. The complex consists of 1,279 apartment units in 14 buildings, from 4 underground floors to 35 above-ground floors. The construction cost is 697 billion won. The complex name was tentatively decided to be ‘Gaepo Summit 187’ to reflect the meaning of the address of the business, Gaepo-dong 187. As Daewoo Construction’s high-end brand Summit is being applied, they plan to collaborate with world-class masters in eight areas, including exterior design and structural stability.
Daewoo Construction won the ‘Shinbanpo 16th Reconstruction Project’ in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu in July. It is also pushing forward with the ‘Hannam 2 District’ reconstruction project in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu and the ‘Yeouido Gongjak’ reconstruction project in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu.
