Chennai – Chief Minister M.K.Stalin again invited multinational car manufacturer Ford to Tamil Nadu. Stalin, who met company officials during his US tour, offered all help to resume car manufacturing at the plant in Chengalpet district. The company had earlier decided to sell the plant for Rs 830 crore but later canceled the deal.

The company is currently considering manufacturing the vehicle for export at the 350-acre plant. The Chief Minister supported this move. Ford Gujarat plant was bought by Tata Group for Rs 725.7 crore.
