Why plastic turns yellow

Combat yellowing with these home remedies

• Vinegar: Mix three parts water with one part vinegar and a splash of dishwashing liquid. Immerse the plastic in this solution for one hour (note: only for non-electronic devices). Then clean the plastic with a brush or sponge and rinse the material thoroughly with clean water.
• Lemon juice: Apply some lemon juice to the discoloration and rub it in thoroughly with a cloth. Leave the lemon juice to work for about an hour. Now clean the plastic with a sponge and then rinse it off.
• Baking powder: For individual stains, you can mix baking soda and water evenly. Apply the resulting paste to the stain and rub it in with a sponge. After allowing it to take effect for a few minutes, rinse the surface thoroughly.
