China launches satellite to test Internet technology

The launch was carried out by the Thai Nguyen Satellite Launch Center at 3:24 a.m. (local time) in the waters near Guangdong province, Southern China. This is the second launch using Tiep Long-3 boosters.

A day earlier, China also successfully launched the Coc Than Tinh-1 Y9 (CERES-1 Y9) booster rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, delivering two new satellites, Thien Nhan-16 and Tinh Tri- 1-A into planned orbits.
