Kharge opined that demolishing one’s house and rendering one’s family homeless is ‘inhumane and unjust’. Priyanka Gandhi also raised this issue on ‘X’. Priyanka has expressed the opinion that there should be a difference between law makers, law protectors and law breakers.
The Congress party strongly condemns the BJP state government’s brazen disrespect of the Constitution by using bulldozers to create fear among citizens. Anarchy cannot replace natural justice. Punishing the family of the accused immediately after the accusation, taking away the roof over their heads, disobeying the law, contempt of court and demolishing the house immediately after the accusation is not justice. – Priyanka Gandhi-Vadhera, General Secretary, Congress
