Referreport
According to a media report, center forward Tim Kleindienst is in the German national soccer team’s squad for the upcoming games. According to information from “Bild”, national coach Julian Nagelsmann nominated the 29-year-old from Borussia Mönchengladbach for the Nations League games in Bosnia-Herzegovina (October 11th) and against the Netherlands (October 14th). For Kleindienst it would be the first call-up to the senior national team squad.
“We would be extremely happy about that,” said Borussia coach Gerardo Seoane at midday about a possible nomination of his striker. “Whenever a player is nominated by us, it is a sign that we are all going in a good direction.”
Praise from club coach Seoane
The attacker moved from 1. FC Heidenheim to Mönchengladbach in the summer. He has scored two goals in five Bundesliga games for his new club so far. Last season he scored twelve times for Heidenheim in the league. “He opens up a lot of space. He doesn’t avoid any duel and gets the team going,” Seoane continued about Kleindienst.
DFB center forward Niclas Füllkrug from West Ham United was recently sidelined due to a calf injury. Nagelsmann will announce his squad this Thursday.
