According to a Dainik Bhaskar report, if Jai Shah applies for the post of the next International Cricket Council (ICC) president, Rohan Jaitley will replace him as the next BCCI secretary.

It is almost certain that the current BCCI secretary Jay Shah will become the president of the International Cricket Council (ICC). They can fill the nomination form till the evening of 26th August. In such a situation, Shah will have to leave the post of the Indian Cricket Board. The current ICC president Greg Barclay’s term will end on November 30.

Jai Shah’s term ends in September 2025 and he will have to resign as BCCI secretary if he becomes the ICC chairman.
