FC Bayern Munich fans have to be prepared for at least one long night during the Club World Cup next summer. The German soccer record champions will play their second group game against the Argentinian top club Boca Juniors on June 20th in Miami at 9 p.m. local time – in Germany it will then be 3 a.m. This is evident from the game plan that was published on Saturday morning.
Should Bayern advance as group leaders and win in the round of 16, the next night shift would begin. The quarterfinals on July 4th in Philadelphia will also kick off at 9 p.m. local time. Munich’s other preliminary round games and Borussia Dortmund’s group games will kick off at TV-friendly times for Germany.
Borussia Dortmund twice in Cincinnati

At the end of their preliminary round, the Munich team will play against their European rivals Benfica Lisbon on June 24th in Charlotte at 3 p.m. (9 p.m. CEST).
