“We will take the lead in firmly defending against traffic fatalities in Saga Prefecture and strive to eliminate traffic fatalities.”
This street activity was carried out by the Prefectural Traffic Countermeasures Council in an attempt to “block” traffic fatalities like a basketball game.
Approximately 40 people participated on the 26th, including players from the Karatsu City-based three-person basketball team “LEOBLACKSSAGA” and basketball club members from Waseda Saga High School.
Participants called on drivers to drive safely at dusk, when the number of accidents increases, by “turning on your lights” and holding up signs that read “Stop! Driving safely.”
