Just one month left until the opening of the Paris Olympics. On the 25th, Maki Takada, a native of Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture, who was just selected as a member of the Japanese women’s basketball team, gave a special lecture on “dreams” to children at an elementary school in Aichi Prefecture.
On the 26th, Maki Takada, who was just selected on the 25th to represent Japan in the women’s basketball team for the Paris Olympics, visited Fujimatsu Minami Elementary School in Kariya City, Aichi Prefecture.
Takada, a native of Toyohashi City and a member of DENSO Iris, based in Kariya City, served as the lecturer for the class, which was titled “Lessons for Making Your Dreams Come True.”

“By trying different things, I hope I can gradually find my dream, and once I find it, I will think about how to make it come true, and by saying positive things, I will be able to get one step closer to becoming the ideal adult that everyone thinks I should be.”
Drawing on his own experiences, Takada conveyed to the children the importance of having dreams and working hard to make those dreams come true.
After the lesson, a free throw game was played, and the children’s eyes lit up as they enjoyed interacting with the Olympic athletes.
