Nine people were killed in an attack by Russian forces on a medical facility in northeastern Ukraine.

According to Ukraine’s Minister of Internal Affairs and others, on the 28th, there was an attack by the Russian military on a medical facility in Sumy Oblast.

After the first attack, as patients and staff began to evacuate, another attack occurred. State authorities say nine people were killed and 12 injured in the attack.

President Zelenskiy accused Russia of carrying out attacks on hospitals, civilian facilities and people’s lives, and asserted that “only force can force peace on Russia.”
