Association of Vietnamese People in Korea awards the contest ‘Vietnam in me’

The contest is an activity of the association with the sponsorship of the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day September 2 and aims to encourage the spirit of Vietnamese people to unite together to overcome the great pandemic. COVID-19 epidemic.

Contest ‘Vietnam in me’.

According to the Organizing Committee, the contest is also a playground for Vietnamese individuals, groups, and multicultural families living in Korea to express their creativity. Contest works are in the form of video (short film, photo report…) and audio (sound).

Mr. Le Van Hung, First Secretary of the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea in charge of the community, representative of the contest jury, said the entries mainly reflect the sentiments of the Vietnamese community in Korea. for the homeland and the country, especially the competition takes place on the occasion of National Day September 2 and the complicated situation of the COVID-19 epidemic in the country. This is a competition organized in an online format to adapt and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Regarding individual awards, the first prize went to author Vu Van Thanh for the work “Smile, Vietnam!”; Pham Thien Truong won the second prize with the work “Unforgettable Days” and the third prize went to Thai Duc Kien with the song “Hoang Sa Truong Sa belongs to Vietnam”. Three consolation prizes went to To Hai Thien for the work “A united, strong, wealthy Vietnam”, Nguyen Thanh Vu for the work “Vietnam is determined to win against COVID-19” and Tran Thi Thu Binh for the work “Vietnam is determined to win against COVID-19”. “People contributing to fighting the pandemic”.

Regarding the collective prize, the First prize went to the Monkey Timani Group with the work “Let’s meet again”, the Second prize was awarded to the JMC MEDIA Group with the work “Vien Ngo Pagoda” and the Third prize went to the Nguyen Thai Loc Group with the work “Iceberg”.

In addition to individual and collective awards, the Organizing Committee also awarded the Impression Award to the Vietnamese Student Association of Hanseo University with the work “September 2 – Vietnam’s Historical Day” and the Audience Favorite Award. for Thai Duc Kien with the song “Hoang Sa Truong Sa belongs to Vietnam”.

The Organizing Committee has received 18 works to participate in the competition from July 26 to August 16, 2021.

To support the prevention of COVID-19 epidemic in the homeland, the Vietnamese Association in Korea also launched the “Give love” program to donate money and epidemic prevention necessities and after only 10 days launch. By 8:00 p.m. on September 2, the association had received a total amount of nearly 80 million VND and many necessities.
