What do combat protocols do in Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon?

Battle logs are information about various enemies that you may encounter in the respective missions. They are identified by the icon of a small folder. You will come across some protocols in the course of the missions, but others you have to look for.

Every combat protocol increases your Loghunt program progress. Once this is full, you will reach a new hunter class and receive a piece of equipment as a reward. Depending on the rarity, the protocols give different amounts of progress. The four rarity levels are:

  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • platinum

In the You can use the mission selection to see which protocols you are still missing. Each mission with a combat log is identified by a folder in the Replay Mission menu. If there’s a catch, then you’ve got all the combat logs for the mission. The mission description also states whether there are combat logs, including “pending” or “completed”. But this only applies to missions that you repeat. When you start an active story mission, you will not receive any information about existing protocols.
