The Japanese women’s national team won the “Paris Olympic Games Asian Qualifiers Phase 3” held in Ningbo, China on the 23rd, securing one spot for the Paris Olympics.

On the 24th, when Hasegawa returned from China, he said, “I imagine I’ll be really excited to play in front of the Eiffel Tower. I want to bring my best performance there.” Ishii, who will be competing in the Tokyo Olympics for the second time, said, “The Olympics are the best stage. I want to get through the qualifying rounds (which I couldn’t do last time) and go to the final tournament, and then I’ll do my best to win a medal.”
