Akaho, who belongs to the Denso Iris, a strong team in the women’s basketball league in Japan, contributed to Japan’s silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics by taking advantage of her 184cm height and rebounding skills. At the Paris Olympics, she aims to win a gold medal, surpassing the one she won at the Tokyo Olympics. The Japanese women’s basketball team will face the United States, which has won the tournament seven times in a row, in the first round of the first league on the 29th of next month.
