The poster visual for the drama series “D&D ~Doctor and Detective’s Investigation Line~” (TV Tokyo, starting on the 18th) starring actor Naoto Fujiki was released on the 2nd, and the theme song was performed by the two-person music unit AIESH. It has been decided that the song will be “Hana no Yukata.”

Set in a town where local medical care is on the brink of collapse, Ryo Kamiko (Fujiki), a surgeon who is expected to rebuild a hospital, and Bunpei Yuge (Susumu Terajima), a veteran detective who doesn’t give in to the organization, are unique buddies. A completely original human mystery depicting incidents caused by people who have fallen out of society and the human drama behind them. Akira Hayami will play the role of Sakura Ishikawa, a nurse colleague of Kamiko, Kentaro Maeda will play the role of Shinji Makino, a police officer working at a police box, and Nene Otsuka will play the role of Seiko Fukumura, a forensic scientist who is Kamiko’s senior.

AIESH is a unit consisting of vocalist BEY and creator YUKITO, whose debut song was selected as the theme song for “Undercover Investigator Kohei Matsushita” (TVer). Her first new song in about a year, “Hana no Yukata,” compares “flowers” to life, and is a song with a rich message, accompanied by a fleeting yet beautiful melody. It has also been decided that this song will be released exclusively on the 18th.

At the same time, a poster visual was also released. In the background of a hospital corridor, Kamiko and Yuge, a detective, are standing back-to-back, with a slight distance between them, two buddies from different positions, surrounded by Sakura, a nurse, Fukumura, a forensic scientist, and Makino, a police officer. The tagline is “Saving lives and solving mysteries. A record of the struggles of outcasts.”

■AIESH comment

–How I felt when the theme song was decided to be “Hana no Yukata”

“We are very honored that our music will be a part of the D&D production. Thank you very much.”

–My impressions after reading the script for “D&D”

YUKITO: “I felt that there was a consistent strong message throughout the story.I think the theme of “views change depending on your position and perspective” has a common meaning with what we want to convey through our music.”

BEY: “Seeing the two of them driven by the desire to save someone, I felt something in common with myself in my music career. From the beginning, the story progressed with a sense of tension, and I felt like they were working together to solve a difficult case.” I felt like I could solve the problem.”

–Points you should especially listen to about this song

“When I decided to express this song vocally, I naturally felt desperate to live, thinking, “I have to live,” and “I’m still here.” All things are impermanent and come to an end. I would like you to look at these feelings from a bird’s-eye view and pay attention to the singing voice that reflects what you feel.”

–To everyone looking forward to the song

“A life that is about to burn out resists its fate. The type of resistance is different for each person, and the worries they have are different. However, when you face it, sometimes it becomes a beautiful and fleeting opportunity to live your current life. Yes, if this song was a step towards becoming closer to yourself, I think that “Hana no Yukata” could have fulfilled the one thing that AIESH wanted to convey. I hope that it will be a song that people will enjoy.”
