Players from the professional basketball team, SeaHorses Mikawa, have decided to use sports to raise awareness of the importance of good teeth.

On August 1st, “Teeth is Life Day,” Aichi Dental Association Chairman Noriyasu Uchibori and SeaHorses Mikawa President Yasuhiro Terabe signed a comprehensive agreement.

With the slogan “The Power of Sports & a Healthy Mouth,” the Dental Association supports athletes in managing their dental and oral health, including by providing mouth guards to protect the mouth during strenuous sports.

The players will also be taking part in events for children to raise awareness about the importance of teeth.
