Advantage for all ADAC members: Anyone who drives an electric car can book the e-Charge tariff. This allows you to charge at many charging stations at a preferential price. Up until now, the ADAC has cooperated with the energy supplier EnBW for this; the motor power was available at a slightly lower price via the EnBW charging app or with a special charging card.
Aral Pulse new partner at ADAC e-Charge
From August 1st, Aral Pulse will be the new charging partner. And that brings with it a few changes. If you are an ADAC member and want to benefit from the Aral special rates, you must first download the Aral Pulse app onto your smartphone and register as a customer with Aral. You can then enter your ADAC membership number and credit card in your profile settings. Aral will then activate your account for the ADAC special rate; however, according to the provider, this can take up to 24 hours. If you want, you can also order the Aral Pulse charging card; it is free. Please note: The ADAC special rate only applies to Aral Pulse charging stations. Before you start charging, it is always worth taking a look at other charging apps; competitors such as Maingau, EnBW or EWEGo may offer a slightly cheaper kilowatt hour.

Users will be rebooked to EnBW
The ADAC tariff stored in the EnBW app will be switched off on August 1, 2024; users can continue to use it, but will then pay the regular kilowatt hour price. To do this, EnBW will transfer all ADAC members to a new charging tariff – and automatically send them a new charging card. The old ADAC card from EnBW will still work until the end of January 2025, after which it will be plastic waste.
