No longer having the joy of a bumper rice crop like in previous years, this year’s rice crop, farmers in Phuc Tho district (Hanoi) suffered heavy losses due to storms and floods. In the last days of September, local farmers are also urgently harvesting ripe rice, at the same time, cleaning up areas of dead, rotten rice, sprouted seeds due to storms and flooding, and actively preparing to plant vegetables. winter color.

Some localities that have done well in harvesting seasonal rice areas include Vinh Phuc and Bac Giang. According to data from the local Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection, up to now, the whole province has harvested 22,081.3 hectares, reaching about 94.2% of the area, with an estimated yield of about 51.7 quintals/ha. Including Vinh Yen and Phuc Yen cities, Lap Thach, Song Lo, Tam Duong and Tam Dao districts have finished harvesting the crop rice area.

In Bac Giang, by September 24, the province had harvested more than 12,500 hectares of crops out of a total of 63,000 hectares of crop cultivation. Do not leave fields fallow
