The files are protected with proven encryption methods, namely Blowfish (448 bit) or AES algorithm (256 bit), to ensure the highest possible security. Access to the shared files is possible via password, smart card, USB flash drive or CD and DVD certificate. Abylon Sharedrive has a clear and user-friendly interface with a simple toolbar and easily accessible functions. Creating a new connection and adding files is easy and straightforward. The files are automatically encrypted in the background to ensure that they are as secure as possible. Both local and network access to the encrypted files is possible. Abylon Sharedrive supports secret keys for SYMM system and HYBRID system authorization methods. Access permissions for the individual data drives are regulated either by assigning a password or by assigning X.509 certificates. External storage media such as USB sticks or EC or KV cards can also be used. The files can be used by several users at the same time. The original file names are obscured to further increase security. Abylon Sharedrive is particularly safe in the event of a computer crash and reduces the potential loss of data to a minimum. The individual encryption and storage of each individual file makes it particularly suitable for backup systems, as only changed data needs to be backed up, which greatly reduces the data transfer volume and the storage space required.
