Houston ∙ A student was shot and killed in Houston. Munna Pandey (21), a nursing student from Nepal, was killed. Munna Pandey was found dead in her Houston apartment at 5:45 p.m. on Monday, August 26. The police found that the woman was shot in the back of the head and in the body.

The police arrested Bobby Singh Shah (51) in the incident. He was arrested on the basis of CCTV evidence. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office has charged him with murder. The motive behind the murder is yet to be revealed. The police informed that the investigation in the case is in progress. The magistrate denied bail to the accused. The trial will continue next Tuesday.
