The Shinshu Brave Warriors, who will be competing in the B2 League this season, held a press conference to announce their new structure.

Approximately 1,200 boosters gathered at the new organization announcement event held at Nagano City Art Museum on the afternoon of the 1st.

Last season, the Shinshu Brave Warriors finished at the bottom of the B1 League and were relegated to B2, but with the addition of five new players, including Watanabe Hiyu, who played for Japan at the Paris Olympics, and Perrin Buford, who was the B1 league’s top scorer for two consecutive years until last season, the team is aiming to return to B1 within one year.

Hiyu Watanabe:
“Fight with us this season”

Head Coach Katsuhisa Michael:
“Our goal is to win and return to B1 within a year. I hope that we can embark on a new journey from scratch. We will draw energy from you all and do our best for the new season, so please continue to support us this season.”

The B2 League kicks off on October 5th. The Shinshu Brave Warriors will play their first game away against Fukui.
