[June 10, KOREA WAVE]A video of a driver giving way to a family of ducks in South Korea so they can cross the road safely has been released on social media and has become a hot topic.

The video, which was posted on May 30th with the title “What I thought was a plastic bag, turns out to be a family of ducks,” shows a mother duck crossing a road with more than 10 of her young.

The driver who spotted the flock of ducks made sure there were no cars following him and stopped for a while with his emergency lights on. The ducks were able to cross the road safely because the car coming behind them also waited.

The poster said, “Thanks to everyone driving safely, there were no accidents and the ducks returned home safely.”

Netizens commented, “You are kind-hearted,” “Thank you for helping the duck family,” “That’s so cool,” and “I made the same choice.”
