On the final day of the U.S. Women’s Open, Miyu Yamashita (22) came in second place, making a comeback and securing her place in the Paris Olympics.

Yamashita had a tough round, including a double bogey in the first half, but he showed off a super shot on the 17th hole.

The tee shot goes straight towards the pin.
He smiled as the shot nearly brought him to a hole-in-one.

Yamashita finished with a birdie on the final 18th hole to finish in second place, his best result on the US Tour.

Yamashita said, “On the final day, I was in the final group and there was a huge crowd of spectators, which made me really nervous, but I had a fun day playing.”

As a result of this, Yamashita, who was in fourth place in the competition for the two Olympic representative spots for each country, has moved up to second place.

The Ladies Professional Golf Association of America announced that Yuka Sasao (23) and Miyu Yamashita are expected to qualify for the Paris Olympics.
